Word Swag - Cool Fonts

What in the world am I doing writing an app review? I own my own business. I work 12-hour days/6 days a week. Some days, I’m so busy I remember I needed to pee 4 hours after I needed to. I know. TMI. But I’m saying this because I love WordSwag that much. I love that their whole reason for being is to make everything we do in our business beautiful. I’m an OCD, Level 100 perfectionist professional organizer. If I had to make a Comic Sans label, it would be the death of me. That, or folding a fitted sheet. But WordSwag lets me make every single thing I produce stunningly beautiful. And I have an infinite number of choices (you get to roll the dice to change the look of each font based on your specific need). You can also choose different “frames,” different formats for different social media platforms, add your logo, and even invert your color swatches. And the customer service is BAR NONE. I think they have real people there, y’all. And not like the employees in Severance, either. Although if anyone can tell me what the baby goats mean in season 2, episode 3, I’d appreciate it. I have a master’s degree and still don’t understand it. At WordSwag, I think they have real people with real desks who take real 7 minute lunch breaks and who also get right back to you when you report any issues. I’ve only had 2 glitches in the hundred years I’ve been using WordSwag and they were resolved before I could remember I needed to pee an hour ago.

This has been my go to graphics app for several years. It has been simple and easy to use! While I appreciate the new fonts, I dont love that I can now only use it vertically. And the other changes, primarily the way the different sizes of photos are shown and function, make it harder not easier! If I want to make an adjustment in the size of a graphic, I have to go all the way back and start again! So I will be looking for something else to use. Sadly, I probably wont find anything that is as easy to use as this app used to be… Update! Wow! I got a really quick response from this team, and I can now use word swag horizontally on my ipad! And I figured out how to resize graphics without having to start over! The fonts are still a little quirky if I want my words to be on one line (with some fonts that doesn’t seem to be an option,) but I can work with that! I have nothing but good things to say about the response of the developers to my issues!

UPDATE: I reached out to customer service and received a reply almost immediately with helpful suggestions on how to remedy this issue. After deleting the app and shutting down my phone to reboot, then reinstalling, it took care of the issue. Has been running smoothly for over a two months now. Last night the issue happened again, but I will repeat the suggestions and have confidence I can get help if needed. APRIL 2020: I LOVE this app so much that I’ve gone with the paid version for a little over a year. BUT the app freezes, deletes font, saves with phantom font images, and over all the performance has gone down DRAMATICALLY since last year. When My hard work gets deleted mid creation, it is the ultimate frustration. Additionally, if this app could also behave like Canva and allow me to keep my images saved to my profile THAT WOULD BE GOLDEN. Sometimes I need to go back and recreate an image from scratch if I need to change something and it is time consuming. Praying the WordSwagggers hear my plead for bug fixes or can suggest anything to help. I’m about to cancel my paid version unless something changes soon. On the positive side, this app is a quick way to create memes for my business that are beautiful and with a handful of nice fonts and images to boot! ***I am on a iPhone 6s and keep my app updated.
