WHSV-TV3 Weather

This app is way better than expected for a small town weather app. I depend on the weather for many of my hobbies and the forecasts/radar on this is 5/5 stars. It’s free and does all of the things other apps do but want you to spend money on (which is way I’m really enjoying it).

A tornado warning just interrupted my tv, so I opened this app. First you have to wait a while until the app actually starts. Then you have to watch a commercial. Then you click on the streaming video of the local talent giving the info…but the report is four hours old. There are much better weather apps out there. Too bad, since the WHSV weather team is quite good when doing their segments on the local news programs. It’s the app that’s not particularly useful.

Best app I have put on my phone in a long time. Accurate and reliable and the notifications have come in handy. I do hope to see some “weather stats” on there eventually, like normal high/ low, record high/low and rainfall totals. I’m a weather junky and this would make the app complete in my mind. Thanks WHSV!
