I attempted to open an account online, I provided the information they asked for. Then I’m told I need to send my auto insurance policy which I did now that’s not good enough. My co-worker who’s caucasian signed up at the same time sent in the same information I originally sent and he got accepted , but I get the run around. They treating me like I’m being dishonest and they didn’t treat my co-worker same way and he a dope head. Stay away from this credit union if you black do your business with someone who will appreciate your business

This app is just a huge problem all around. It takes me several times of trying to log in just to stay logged into the app long enough to check my balance. I also have Face ID set up and that only works to get you logged in for a split second then logs you right back out once it tells you there are no accounts to display. It’s really annoying because my credit card through weokie is connected to the app as well and sometimes I want to make a payment without issues. Bottom line, it will keep kicking you out prematurely. You’re better off using the weokie website over the app to be honest. I love weokie as a credit union overall but I do NOT love this app. It needs some work or bug fixes. Something.

First off, what kind of banking app only shows you the last two transactions in your mortgage account?? And doesn’t actually even show the main monthly payments at all, but just the last two principle-only extra payments? That’s if it allows you log in at all (btw if it doesn’t, double-home, swipe it away, try again). I have accounts at multiple banks (thus multiple apps), and this is the least useful, least informative, and most buggy app among them, by far. Try to look at your last statement through the app. Go ahead; I’ll wait. And wait. Sometimes the only thing that works are the ads for other Weokie loan products. Which by the way are quite ubiquitous and take an absurd amount of screen space, not even counting the billboards they stick between your transactions when viewing account history. This even happens in the aforementioned two-item, regular-payments-not-included, mortgage history. I mean, you kind of need the app because even it is marginally better than the extremely similar mobile website (usually but not always; sometimes it’s the other way round). Probably this thing was outsourced to a slick consultant, who made a great pitch to the decision-makers using all the right buzzwords and had a really cool slide deck, but turned out that the pitch was all they had that was great. Love Weokie. Great CU, great rates, great people. Lousy app. Just a lousy, lousy app.
