I had just started ordering from what appeared to be an answer to my prayers getting my business off the ground. My first order was for 5 lbs of mini marshmallows which we go through a lot of and then about a week or so later I decided to order the 8 pound version of the same mini marshmallows, but when they arrived they were clearly the same amount I received in my 5 pound order so I wrote to customer service and was asked to provide photos of what I received and I happily complied and sent the required photos and then a couple of days ago I received another response for photos presented in a different way and by this time I had had it! I mean we're talking about an order worth about $40 and I was at the time compiling a long list of other items I needed to order but after the last response where they were basically implying that I was being dishonest, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. If you are going to haggle with a new customer over 3 pounds of marshmallows then I can only imagine how they would respond to a much larger issue! I think I'm mostly offended by the second response for more photos because we've OBVIOUSLY been using said marshmallows to the point where it was time to place an order order, but Lord have mercy! I will NEVER order anything from this place again!!
I’ve used this company for years now. Most of my early issues were with FedEx because, well, they ARE FedEx — they try harder because they are #2. That’s not WS’s fault. Otherwise, if they packed things wrong and they arrived damaged, a replacement came promptly. They even replace the few pieces of equipment that broke while in warranty, again quickly and efficiently. I love their partnership with CreditKey, which allows me to spread out my purchase payments over a few months — definitely perfect for controlling cash flow in an ice cream shop! My experience has always been that since I’m kind to them they don’t get defensive and do their best to help. I read these bad review and am pretty sure that these people lead sad lives. Such is the world today. Keep up the good work, WebstaurantStore!
We purchased a steam table from them we got exactly what we ordered and it seems to be doing great !! No problems with shipping actually arrived early but it was a large package and someone else delivered it. I have not had to return anything yet so don’t have to say anything about that being an issue ! My family has been purchasing stuff from here since 1988 and we are very pleased as of today . As with everything else nothing happens over night and I am thankful that we have the option to order some of the things they have to offer for our restaurant otherwise we may never find what we needed !! Thank you all for doing a great job and doing the best with what you have to work with .
