WBRC 6 News

After several attempts to have them change the way they present full page ads, I am going to turn off all notifications and use another news source. These ads are for various games that cannot be dismissed without triggering the App Store to open. Then once you close the App Store there is an option to dismiss the ad. I understand the need for revenue for this free service but it’s gotten out of hand. I love my FOX6 news team and I will continue to watch them on TV but apparently their leadership is seeking ad revenue above viewer’s loyalty to the point that I won’t be using their news app.

My very favourite TV show is Absolutely Alabama with the masterful Fred Hunter. I grew up with 3 TV channel options until I was 10 years old when Alabama Public Television first aired from Mount Cheaha. I remember going outside next to the chimney and turning our quite tall TV antenna from Birmingham to Cheaha and back again because I simply had to see Tom York and Pat Gray! Thank you so much for these 63 years of service to me.

Per a post that was made saying that their are way to many weatherman/woman on fox 6…. Keep dong an amazing job…Mickie n the morning and Wes thru out the day. I love Fox 6 whole cast from the anchorman’s,sports and the weather team. Yes James spann is the status quo but there are other amazing Meteorologist out there such as this group.
