I’ve streamed at least a hundred concerts over the years on another site. This app gave me immaculate views and crystal clear sound. Was able to airdrop to my tv through Roku with ease. 10/10 experience.
I've watched two DMB shows on this app and I'm blown away. The different camera views allowing you to see each band member is super cool. There are a lot of complaints from fans on message boards and in reviews about the stream quality. There were a couple of hiccups in the last show I watched in Saratoga but so far for this show it's been 100% smooth. It seems like the makers behind this app do truly care about ironing out some of the issues. Like in this most recent stream, they're actively in the chat asking for feedback from people about what ISP they have, what device... seemingly to try to isolate these streaming issues reported in the last show and prior shows. This is an enormously challenging app to design and build - I hope the Volta team keeps going and ironing out the issues even in the face of negative reviews because this experience has so much potential.
I very much enjoyed this app. I saw that they were live streaming the Dave Matthews Gorge concert. I was able to listen to it first through my Alexa and then AirPlay sound was good. In both ways. I did enjoy it on my phone though where I could choose different views of the different band members and didn’t have to rely on the directors cut. I’ll definitely be back to visit it.
