Same applies to whoever DELETED the review I had here, thus forcing me to write another entirely new one just to add that I just wasted half an hour fighting with this brainless app without finding any way to see a list of recent transactions on the account, an ability that anyone with two working neurons would have put at the top of the menu. [UPDATE: I despise this brainless app and the brainless janitor who threw the daily garbage into this computer program instead of into the dumpster. It has been two months since I’ve been able to pay my power bill to PG&E because it is IMPOSSIBLE to use the calendar here to set the date, and oh OF COURSE you can’t just type it in, like anyone with two working neurons would have as the default. If my power gets shut off it’s the fault of the brainless idiot who programmed this. Looks like I have to go to the bank in person again, and have a teller do it. [UPDATE: the people at the bankREFUSED to do it for me, now I’m looking for a new bank.] Oh yes, there’s no LOGOUT option anymore, so I hope it times out automatically. [Previous comments:] What was it I said that got the previous review DELETED? Was it the suggestion that TCB should fire whoever wrote this app and rehire the ones who wrote the previous WORKING version? Or did I suggest they should hire their first QA engineer? What was it I said that justified CENSORSHIP of valid criticism, eh, Apple? [UPDATE: I went to the bank in person to get a list of recent transactions and have the teller make some changes that are impossible to do through this app, and she asked if I had tried it on my phone. No, I had never used it on a screen 1/6th the size with a ‘keyboard’ very difficult to use, only on this iPad where I can read the text and type much easier. Turns out that the phone works to give a list of recent transactions, and she confirmed that it was impossible in this app on the iPad.]

I have been trying to just transfer between my checking and high yield savings account which is located on another app for over a month. I’ve been to the bank, they don’t understand the app. If I write a check it gets “kicked” out of the system. Test deposits were blocked. Finally they fixed it to where test deposits will go through but only to my credit cards not saving accounts. I understand they are trying to push their high yield cd. I don’t want to lock up our money and the interest rate is still not as high as some other banks basic savings accounts. I can’t even send a message to the app developer. I have to leave a rating in order to get a bug fixed. I should be able to make a simple transfer. It’s been a month and a half. I feel like they don’t want us to transfer (our) money for some reason. We’ve been $@?! blocked….plus my other rating isn’t even up here?

As of the day this review is written Tri Counties just came out with an update that added a ton of new features. You can link all accounts to easily see debt/savings/retirement accounts all in one place. See cash flow, and budget expenses, and categorize all transactions to make the flow and budgeting easier. You can also see these accounts in other ways such as a debt chart with estimated payoff over time, trends of how much you’ve spent in each category over time, and your net worth. I Highly recommend their new app.
