Treeapp: Plant Trees for Free

The idea of creating an app which lets you plant trees from your own home, whether you pay or not is something that I love. I’ve told my family and friends about this app and I plant a tree once a day with the free option, just watching a quick ad which are all very appealing and eco friendly. This is very good for the app and the codes it provides for the products are useful and I will in fact be purchasing some of these products. I love knowing that I’m helping around the world even if just slightly, and the fact that I can unlock different areas the more trees I plant is very appealing to me. I will be using this app for a long time in the future and hopefully one day I’ll have the money to pay for more. Overall, an amazing app which helps the environment and I recommend everyone should take part in making this world a better place, even if it’s just planting a tree a day.

I have been so pleased with this app. It’s such a good idea and I have planted a tree each day which I feel good about. It describes the planting projects in lovely detail, explaining how it will help local people and wildlife and you can see where your trees are planted on the map and track what a difference it is making. All I have to do is look at a very short, 3 swipe advert. The best thing is the products and companies are ethical and interesting! I want to support companies like this but didn’t know they were out there! I have finally found a company that sells deodorant in a reusable refillable stick, and it’s absolutely fantastic! Also ordered from a plastic free shop. This app benefits so many people all in one go from the communities where the trees are planted to the smaller ethical businesses that advertise here and pay for the trees. I feel good about reducing my carbon footprint and have found some great eco products to boot! It’s all good, very well designed app, definitely a keeper!

So pleased I found this app. I’m 54 and disabled so I can’t physically help protect the environment by cleaning up beaches and rivers and by planting trees. This app lets me plant a real tree every day in various projects around the world thanks to the generosity of the participating companies who sponsor the planting. Obviously the companies hope that you will buy their products but there’s no obligation to and you only have to read a sentence or two on their product then say which variation you prefer before getting to plant the tree. The app also helps you calculate your carbon footprint and gives you a personal dashboard where you can see which days you planted trees and how that’s offset your weekly, monthly and annual carbon footprint. Only issue we’ve found is that the app is too popular and all the available trees have been planted by mid-afternoon! The demand is clearly there so, if it’s logistically possible, it would be amazing if more company sponsors could be found and the receiving projects scaled up. Thank you so much to everyone involved in this - I finally feel like I can make at least a small difference in helping slow climate change.
