Track Shows & Movies - Showly

In a world of bloated and almost unusable apps and websites, Showly is a shining example of everything a good app should be. The user interface is wonderful. The app is fast and useful. The links out to rating sites and the community of users rating individual episodes is so helpful. This has upped my TV watching game so much.

This app is clearly the most beautiful and clean design. Acts perfectly to record and keep track of upcoming movies and tv shows (and progress on your current shows), but without a ton of extra features and noise. Thanks! One request is to make ratings a little more visible (e.g. for each season, so I can choose a top ranked season) and to have an option to source these ratings from imdb instead of trakt.

This is far an away the best Trakt client in the App Store. Polished, clean and fast. The search works extremely well and it’s easier to find the things you’re looking for. It’s still limited by Trakt’s newfound lists limit, which still stinks, but it’s easier to swallow with the benefits provided by Showly. I also whish the cast section showed the character names along with the actor names instead of only the actors names. It’s still a fairly new app but I can already see the direction and I’m excited to see what improvements are made down the line. One such improvement I’d love to see is the ability to see the characters names in the show/movie along with the actors names. I like to see who people are playing without needing to watch the show or movie first.
