Every card I try (all of them Visa, all of them valid and all with plenty of funds available) on this useless app is rejected. It doesn’t even save the payment details so numbers have to be entered manually each time. Judging by the other reviews here, I’m not alone and it seems that Tops have absolutely no interest in fixing these bugs and providing an app that actually WORKS. Take my advice and order from Domino’s. Edit: over 2 years on and it’s STILL the same 🤬
The payment never works no matter how many cards I try. On the app it’s never worked and on the website I’ve gotten it to work maybe twice. I was also charged twice for one order when both times had apparently “failed”. I landed up having to call the main office when that happened because when I called the local branch I was ordering from, the man told me he “wasn’t ready to do this” and hung up on me? Weird. Another annoying thing is that if you accidentally hit the “home” button you have to re-enter your postcode in order to get back to the menu. Really strange design. Yummy pizza but if I were you I’d spend more money and get worse deals by ordering through Just Eat/Deliveroo - ordering directly is a huge headache and not worth it
Want to order a custom pizza? Good luck! When you click the “Save” button after having customised your pizza, the app glitches and the screen goes white, meaning you cannot add the pizza to your order. You can still use the app to order, but you cannot order a custom pizza. Fix this, please.
