I had a 1870 waltham pocket watch serviced and I used this app to check the โheartbeatโ of this beautiful piece of working history. I donโt understand the advanced features of the app because Iโm not a watch technician, but I just use it to see if itโs running faster slow so I can adjust it accordingly. The extra features are well worth the 4 dollars. I didnโt see an option to save results, but I just use the screenshot in my iPhone. Good stuff! Thank you.
Used it with a timegrapher device (grey box from china). Did not measure consistently. Throws out numbers ranging from -30 to 82. My biggest regret is that I was dumb enough to pay for the advanced version.
I bought other apps like this but they didn't work. So I tried this one and had high hopes for it. I was in a very quiet environment and it was work perfectly. This watch has been cleaned and oiled by a skilled jeweler. I used the app to adjust the accuracy of the watch. The app showed I needed to make a slight adjustment because the watch was running a little fast. I got it very accurate according to the app almost perfect. But the watch is still running fast. I have checked the watch with this app several times and the app shows me that it should be keeping great time. But the watch is still running fast.
