AMAZING story, only one thing...

Today I was looking up vns in the App Store and I found this. I thought it looked interesting so I gave it a go. The first two chapters were good (if not predictable) and I was hooked! Planning to finish it all in one sitting, I started chapter 3. In ch3, there’s a game that you have to play . It’s like a cool math game, where your block dude has to make its way through a dark maze. It’s good, it’s hard, it’s jump scared me so many times. But the Up (jumping) button keeps glitching and not working so I had to RESTART THE CHAPTER TWICE and go through all the hard levels!! Again!!! This vn seems rlly good, and I want to finish it but the levels only keep getting harder and harder so idk if I will/can?? I’m not the best gamer so,,, hope this gets fixed soon. Edit: I finished it, and I loved it!! It reminded me a lot of DDLC, one of my favorite games. The weakest point is definitely the mini game, but I’d say it’s worth getting through. Kara was awesome tho, loved the plot twist :) (I got the true ending, I guess?)

The final chapter❗️👌👏

I really enjoyed this game. The first few times I played, I couldn’t make the right decisions, so i couldn’t make it through the 1st chapter. In the first chapter, I worked for a game development team, called AppSir Inc. in the first few seconds into the story my doctor told me I had cancer, but later on, I just brushed off death, I was basically on the brink of death from cancer.... but I was able to live normally like any other person. When I got to my job, one of the assistants told me that the meeting that I was having was postponed till tomorrow, then, I left. After I left the building, I came across a cake shop, where I met the girl of my dreams! (Kara Genters). She was the one who owned the cake shop. We were talking and she decided to give me free strawberry cake. After that, we both left her shop and went to the park together to watch the sunset. Then, out of nowhere, she asked me this; ‘If the world ended in 2 weeks, what would you do?’ Which for one, I thought was really random! She also said stuff about surviving and then she kinda confessed to me???? I didn’t even know what to say or do at that point... Kara was really weird.... I also found out that she was a yandere, that’s why she kidnapped me.... I do recommend this game, it’s short but fun. (If you can make it though the chapters, that is!) I think you should play it! It’s kinda like yandere simulator! Just remember; Kara isn’t meant to be a bad person, she just kills people because she loves you and she wants everyone else to stay away from you and she just wants you to herself. Such a weirdo... 😑 I finally made it to the end of the game tho, phew! It was long and excruciatingly annoying, but I made it through! There’s also some really nice art at the end of the final chapter... I’m not telling you the rest, that’ll just be a lot of spoilers. (Cliffhanger)

Humble beginnings

Aside from a few nitpicks, genuine clever writing tricks are at play here. While being a bit short it seems that a great story could spawn from this foundation. Mobile Visual Novels are somewhat of a rarity, so it’s great to see some devs ready to take on somewhat of a pioneer role. A few problems do hold this game back from being something I would revisit for another play, the lack of decisions and overall gameplay. I didn’t get any sense of individuality if I were to compare with anyone else’s play through. You could probably count on both your hands how many actual choices you were offered in the grand scheme of things. Another complaint I constantly pointed out and made jokes out of, were the extremely amateurish backdrops. When a 3D rendered background or piece of the environment was present, I would always comment on how bad they looked comparing it to low resolution RuneScape. Again visuals are weak with the character designs, the self-insert protagonist has the most laughable facial I’ve ever seen, it looks like a 14 year-old bought a fake 5$ toothbrush mustache and slapped it on his face. The character “Mia” is actually the least appealing which is was a bit strange considering that the protagonist remarks on her looks, and we are supposed to self-insert into this character. Also hands down the GREATEST line from this game was “your a great guy”Overall: Since it’s on mobile and there isn’t much else to choose from, I’ll give you a pass considering some of my issues were nitpicks and I’m not too keen on VN’s but I’d like to see more on a casual level, so mobile VN’s would be a good enough gateway drug.
