Tether: Book of Mormon

Enjoying the app. It is really good at encouraging me to read daily. The questions keep me focused. Update: I think something changed with an update? The app used to have 2 buttons (options) when you finished the required chunk of reading for the day - 1) I’m done or 2)Keep reading. It also included a line that said “2 of 3 chunks left in the chapter”. I miss that. I often want to finish the chapter but i no longer know how long it will take or if I have gotten to the end of the chapter. And there is also no way back to the Home Screen without exiting and reentering the app.

I love this app, and all the questions that come after the scriptures. It’s a fantastic way to stay connected to the Book of Mormon, and I highly recommend. There’s one minor thing and one bigger thing - I’ve noticed that in a lot of the questions, the answer tends to have a period after it, like names, while the others are left without punctuation. Not that I care about punctuation I just think it tends to point out the answer. Now the bigger thing: Whenever I use my tether account on a separate device and extend my streak, and I go back to my other device with the same account the next day, it tells me my streak is lost. Overall, I love this app and have been using it consistently for the past month, I just wish my streak kept across my Apple devices.

I love this app!! I leave for my mission in a month so I’ve been trying to prepare- this app came at the perfect time. It’s really great to do first thing in the morning when your mind is still fuzzy but you still gotta get out of bed- I have a couple suggestions- I know the app is still super new so take your time! - I hope one day there will be challenges/competitions. Maybe you could have like the “Read the BOM in 90 days” comp which gets you lots of xp - I also hope there will be leagues like in Duolingo - I think having the friends quest or “notify your friend” like in Duolingo would be a super cool feature - Weekly quests that follow the CFM? - I wonder if a journal feature you can access whenever that’s gets you so much xp everytime you use it I know you’re still working on the app so take your time! - so far it’s amazing!! It’s a super simple thing I use first thing in the morning to start my momentum and start my day and get me excited to study my paper scriptures I’m so excited to see how this app will grow and evolve!! We need more lds apps like this!!
