Target: Shop Deals & Trends

I LOVE the Target app. Shopping simplified with convenient pickup in store or drive-up. This app is easy to understand and totally user friendly! I pick which store i am shopping and the app remembers it unless I change it. It makes shopping easier and takes the stress out of getting groceries and household items. It’s all on my time, my schedule. I can add to my cart any time of the day or night and checkout with one click Apple Pay. The app alerts me when orders are ready and walks you through the pickup process with a few clicks of a button. The search feature allows me to find what I am looking for and the app lets me know if something is out of stock at my favorite store or getting low. I can choose a substitute item if I want in case it is not available or look for a nearby store with the item in stock. There is options to add and select favorites allowing you to quickly filling your cart with your usual items. There is also a buy again feature that is really handy. I can even look back at previous purchases to see all items I bought. The app even suggests items I may be running out of based on when I last purchased it! This is definitely my favorite app on my phone! It’s simple to use, convenient, has great features, and saves me SO much time. Thank you Target!!!

Originally I thought Target was perfect in every way, but their app turns out to be very user UN-friendly. Difficult to resolve an issue if it doesn’t exactly fit their pre-set categories. Calling their customer service helpline is unbearable because it’s a call center with so much noise and people speaking with accents in the background making it difficult to hear or understand the person you are talking to -no offense to them - I have an accent also -but with so much background chatter, it’s impossible to understand and they but worst of all as nice as they are and try to be, they Cannot fix all issues. I just wanted to change my delivery address to the address I normally use for delivery and that turned out to be impossible. When I used my App to change it instead of being able to use my gift cards I had to use a credit card. So aggravating -on one hand, their delivery is so fast and perfect -on the other hand you can’t change anything if there is an error. Be very careful using the app and placing an order.

I’ve been using this app for years. Having the wallet feature has been a plus because I didn’t need to carry my physical card with me. I’ve had a few problems recently. The most recent was yesterday. I went to pay at the self-checkout. I had already checked to make sure I was connected to the WiFi. My wallet feature would not open. I tried closing the app and reopening but it wouldn’t work. The only thing I could do was try to sign in, but I don’t know my password. I always use facial recognition to sign in. That wasn’t working. I don’t know why. I had loaded digital coupons that morning and there was no problem then. I did not accidentally sign out as the app stated “hello, Leslie “ at the top. Why wasn’t the wallet working? I ended up using a bank credit card because I needed to go home. When I went home I checked the wallet and it still wouldn’t open. I didn’t feel like dealing with it then. I tried again this morning with the intention of resigning in. To my surprise it opened the wallet like it was supposed to. It would help if it worked in the store. I did not get my 5% discount for using my RedCard. This has happened before and I spoke with a representative, or actually several, who said I would be credited but I never was. I assume there was a glitch in the app. Do I need to go back to carrying my card?
