I’ve been using Swiftlane at my apartment building for about two weeks, primarily the mobile unlock feature and Siri Shortcuts. The integration with iOS is seamless—I’ve set up a Lock Screen widget to open the front gate and even created a backup automation in case I forget to press it. It’s smooth, fast, and incredibly convenient. That said, I do think the app could be more user-friendly overall. Some residents seem to struggle with navigating other features, which could be resolved with clearer in-app guidance. One concern: the live camera feed is accessible in the app, even when no one’s calling you directly. It raises privacy questions, especially since it’s unclear whether those on camera are notified they’re being viewed. With some tweaks to usability and privacy transparency, Swiftlane has the potential to be a standout solution.
I think Swiftlane is the best thing that the building owner could have done for this building. It is very convenient, reliable and excellent to keep our entry door secure. Compared to what we did have this system having the video screen and multiple options for entry as well as providing codes to delivery services really keeps the frustration level down in my life because I almost never miss a package; and being able to see whom the package is from when they are at the door is a bonus because I can reinforce with them the specific directions of where to leave the package. Thank you
I am an iPhone user and I added my Door access to Siri and when I have my hands full of items, it’s great to call Siri to open/unlock my office door. I’ve also ran out of the office without my mobile phone and keys to grab a delivery or meet someone and the door locks behind me (as it should) but I was quickly able to use facial recognition to unlock the door. Overall easy access for whatever reason it may be without using a physical key is very convenient! I highly recommend the Swiftlane product!
