Sun NXT : Live TV & Movies

I didn’t expect such a worst app from Sun Network Group. We pay for the premium for the Sun Next Subscription, but still it works only based on ads at least in the US. And more over the video never resumes after the ad which is really annoying and has to seek after the ad, which is a pain. I don’t understand the concept of having subscription and not giving seamless streaming experience from a experienced satellite network clearly shows their lag in latest technology and not catching up while other new TV providers are far ahead and giving quality programs. Hope someone from the app owner sees this review and take necessary actions, and I don’t expect that too to happen with their current customer service!

I am iOS developer myself from Kerala and understands pain of getting this work... I had issue with playing movie on Apple TV, even with my 50 mbps connection. Activity indicator would show up near seek bar. Initially i was suspecting their server is not able to keep up with demand, but when i play same movie on safari/google chrome, movie app was playing at HD Quality and no lags I reported the issue by contacting them over email.. to my surprise, they reverted back, asked for screenshot. After i shared screenshot, like within 12 days or something, they pushed new build to Appstore. They even followed up with me to check whether issue is resolved... 5 stars for responding to email and fixing the issue (before my subscription got over) I would suggest you guys to reset ratings on next app release, currently its 2 stars. Doesn’t makes sense

I have this app in my Apple TV. Any video you play for the first 1 to 2 minutes it plays with the lowest resolution. You can’t watch at all. After 2 minutes it’s fine. But if you are watching a 5 minutes song and the first 2 minutes go off with the low resolution then you get irritated. Hope the app get better. With recent times I am not seeing this problem. Looks like it is resolved. Thank you
