I really enjoy this app. One thing I would like would be if I only had to wear my watch. The voice feature only works when I also have my phone with. Otherwise it is very simple to use and I actually enjoy it. I started out struggling with the first workout, I have NEVER been a runner. I went every other day, with a couple back to back days when I knew my workout day would be busy and wouldn’t be able to do the workout. I once took two days off to let my knee rest since it started hurting. Do what works for you! I am a couple workouts into level two and everyday I am shocked I can do it! Twice it has happened that I had to take extra breaks so I redid that workout the next day. I told myself I won’t let myself “pass” a workout unless I do it fully. This way I should always be prepared for the next long time. Start! You won’t regret it! I have also lost 6 lbs. I wasn’t large to begin with, 130, down to 124.
As a middle-age woman with stress incontinence, a semi-recent fracture to my foot (two years ago), poor self-discipline, and having had a life long struggle with asthma, I have always believed I could never run. Emerging from the pandemic, however, and after a long period of inactivity wherein I gained a significant amount of weight, I needed something to supplement my dieting. This has been such a godsend! It’s simple. It’s just running, but it starts out with intervals I can actually complete. I have more energy, I’m losing weight and shedding fat, and my core strength is getting better every day. After three weeks, I’m no longer peeing when I run. And I’m DOING IT!!! This is such a confidence boost!!! I chose to write the review rather than paying for the full version, but I’ll probably pay anyway. It’s become such an essential part of my self care routine, that it’s totally worth the money.
I feel like this is a very simple app, with a simple layout and simple instructions. If you don’t need anything super fancy and you just wanna get moving for some time during the day this app can offer that. I’ve been using it for the past two weeks and it’s been helping me keep fit and have a good track of how i’m doing in respect to how far i’m running and for how long. it’s challenging, but it helps. you can play music as you run and it doesn’t stop completely, but stays at a low volume as the voice tells you for how long you'll need to run/walk. the voice tells you when you’re halfway through as well, so you get an idea of how much you have left. the overview of your running workout is straightforward as well. this app is very easy to navigate, i like it so far. it gets the job done, i’m the type of runner that just runs till i get too tired and then not run anymore, this has been helping me keeping my pace. it’s not overwhelming nor too chaotic when you open it either. i don’t know what could be changed, i'm okay with it so far.
