Star Battle! Logic Puzzles

This is hands down the best app for queens/star battle etc games. The note taking, x autofilling, undo, and hints features are the best I’ve seen in any similar apps. The biggest downside is that there aren’t enough puzzles!! I’ve finished all 1000 puzzles and do the daily puzzle every day—I really wish there were more! Please bring back the event packs or add more 14x14 games!

Had to update my review because it was user error, and I didn’t realize I had options beyond the daily puzzle. I would really like the ability to pick 1 star games, as I find these easier to play and more relaxing. I appreciate the dark mode option, as well as the auto x’s. Only issue was that for some reason I found it very hard to find all these features when first playing, and assumed it didn’t have them. Maybe a tutorial? I wish there were hints available. And maybe this is user error but I didn’t see any. I see an option that seems to check if anything is wrong, and an option that appears to just place a star for you. But I would rather it give me a hint that tells me a strategy of how I should know what to mark off next. Also, please label icons. I didn’t realize what the buttons did until I clicked them. I didn’t want it to place a star, just give me a hint and an explanation.

I found this game while searching for something similar to LinkedIn’s Queens and I really love it! The levels are a good mix. I also really like the journey games that populate every few days. I purchased the ad free version. My only complaint is that it seems that the undo button adds some undos to your tally every day, but I can’t earn hints or puzzle checks the same way. I have to watch an ad if I want a hint, which feels frustrating since I purchased the ad free version.
