It’s super fun and you can even inside of this game. It’s kind of different than what it’s based off of so instead well there’s still the same stuff but it’s just a little different like some balls. If you shoot it will go right through it some balls that you shoot it will destroy it which you want to destroy it because if it hits you, you’ll die with some balls if you hit it, you won’t die, but it blocks you from hitting the aliens when you’re supposed to hit all the aliens inside of the game and also you don’t have to hit all the aliens. You just have to complete this stage without dying And then in some balls if you shoot it or something like if it’s great, you can go through it without getting effective, but if it’s not great, then it will affect you but yeah, all aliens are white that.
Seeing this game come back after so long in a new great looking updated form was such a pleasant surprise! I’ve been a veteran Infinity Gene player who played the original App game back in the day, alongside the expanded home console port, and I had fallen in love with this game and it’s aesthetic back then and still love it now, with me listening to the amazing soundtrack every now and then on streaming platforms! I sadly thought the run for this game was over long ago, having made itself a memorable event in the history of Taito, but suddenly seeing it pop up in the store, not only a handsome and impressive port of the console version, but updated with brand new features that makes it feel even better, I genuinely couldn’t be happier!!! Thank you for making this Infinity Gene fan so dang happy!
This is a perfectly capable reimagining of space invaders but I take exception with the completely unnecessary references to cell biology. I really liked cell bio in college and the name, as well as the first few minutes of the game, excited me with promises of some kind of meaningful relation to the invoked subject. Maybe you'd be able to mix and match ship powers with some sort of genetic algorithm. No. It's spaceships fighting space ships with completely unrelated cell bio inspired level names. Nothing to do with the levels. Seems like someone went through an index of a freshman bio textbook and picked level names without understanding the concepts. The "tech tree" kind of looks like a tree of life but appears to be either completely linear or random. Don't do that. You have a good game. Why imply content that's not there? The question is entirely rhetorical; please don't write back; devs who reply undermine their product.
The multi award-winning masterpiece is back, and more evolved than ever! Refreshing destruction! An unprecedented shooting evolution! Simple to pick...
