The VA sent me a small Bluetooth sleep machine and this is the accompanying app - after playing with the default sounds, I found Violet Noise, and wow, that higher pitched fuzzy noise masked the maddening tinnitus and sleep came on gossamer wings, like the warm embrace of your favorite cozy sweater. Seriously, the 12 band EQ lets one tune the noise to find just the right mix of frequencies You can tell the app how long to play, all the way up to continuous sound... You can add white noise into any of the sounds for more masking... I sleep so much better since starting to use this app!
