Love the game. Wish there were more Exotic drops, more detailed weaponry, longer lvls, harder bosses and the landscapes were a little more challenging. With all that being said, it looks like a bad review but it’s a first time game like this so I figured constructive criticism is better than Line.
One of those games where there’s no “pickup” or “interact” button assigned to your controller, so every 30 seconds, you have to put your controller down, pickup your phone, play without controller until the chest is open, and then when you are safe to do so, re-mount your phone on your phone stand, pickup your controller, and continue playing, just to open a chest! The tutorial had about 5 chest, that’s five times I’d have to do the process above. Such a basic and necessary control yet it’s uncommon in many games like this one, and something I always look out for, even cod mobiles new game mode is semi controller supported which completely breaks the flow of the game, same issue here. Personally, I find it ridiculous, a lack of a basic function shows a lack of care and passion for the project. Clearly when controller functionality was being tested, basic functionality was ignored. So I sadly will be missing out on this title. Very frustrating and disappointing. The line between a quality game and an okay game, is almost always based off of whether I can interact with items and use menus via my controller.
I loooove the graphics, they’re really nice. The music and the overall atmosphere are great. The difficulty level is decent, because I don’t like that kind of RPG games that play themselves, those are boring. This games challenges you since the beginning but it lets you progress and it’s super cool it works offline, like very few games nowadays. Means no ads except for a few at the shop which are totally optional. The game is a work of art tbh. Let’s see if I don’t quit when it gets too hard xD
The Kingdom of Brynn is falling. Shapeshifting creatures known as Shapers are replacing humans, stealing their memories, and no one knows who to trust...
