From the time I first saw SOMM years ago, to now having SOMMTV for the last couple of years, and also listening to the podcast, learning about wine is one of my favorite things to do. Thank you, Jason and Christina Wise, for opening up a world to me that I didn’t know existed. As a result of what you have created, and what you are creating, I have a new appreciation for wine, wine education, wine/farming/regional history, wine travel, hospitality, and all of the people that make it happen. You make really beautiful documentaries and all of your content on SOMM TV is such quality that I have given SOMM TV as a gift, and continue to tell everybody that I run into that also loves wine, about SOMMTV. I love it all! Thank you for what you do.
Hey Jason, first of all you’re a genius and everything you touch turns to gold. Thank you for all your hard work and hours of filming. Somm got so many of us into wine and into the industry and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched those docs. This app is amazing and contains so much information that we can all utilize. Could you possibly film some aspect of the Bourbon world even though there is already some docs out there? I feel like you could do a better job getting in depth shots at toasted barrels and the ingredients used to make the finished products. Something that is interesting to watch while sipping on a glass. Bourbon is booming and you could include a little on the app. I mean Somms definitely have bourbon and whiskey included in their field too. Once again thank you for your hard work… take my money please :)
I discovered the SOMM movies when i was studying for my own dispatch certificate... It’s funny how much i relaxed watching people going through the same stress that I was.... But these movies welcomed me in and made me a part of the family... They also pulled me into the world of wine, which has grown into a passion... I’ve read, studied, taken classes and volunteered at different wineries to learn more... I was so excited when the app launched... This has continued my education and entertained me during this crazy year... Two best pieces of advice I’ve received- 1.) Drink what you want 2.) Never stop learning.... This content introduces me to wines, areas that satisfy both of those rules. You guys are awesome, keep it coming!
