Do not play this game. I warn you of a future where you will waste hours on nothing. This game is too addictive. It is like a drug, it will give you everything in a matter of minutes, and yet some more minutes later you shall have lost everything. It harms your health, as you will become sucked within an intoxicating world where there is nothing and will always be nothing. I’ve heard of people who have played this game for hours everyday for YEARS. It is sad to see how many people are wasting their lives on something so worthless, so mindless, you may as well melt your own mind. This game should have a warning label: ADDICTIVE. If you get bored, avoid this breed of entertainment at all costs. If you have nothing to do and decide to play this then that proves that you are resorting to addiction and time wasting when you can. Rather try something good for you! Why not try Finch? Or Threes!? Grow and improve yourself! Or perhaps maybe you should just go outside. Spend time with friends and family, read a book, create art… There is so much good out there that you could be doing, instead of wasting time like this. Fulfill yourself. Don’t destroy yourself. This is why I have recently removed this app from my device, and my life. You should too. ~Frostmoon

I’ve loved this game for a long time. Now there is a feature that I asked for a long time ago; you can now keep your nickname without having to type it in again. Until today, I always used Ace as my nickname as it was quick to type in and it was what my childhood friend used to sarcastically call me when I screwed up “Good one, Ace”. Don’t know yet what I’ll use as a persistent name. I don’t know why I’m so addicted to this game. It’s pretty simple and stupid but if a cup of coffee does not relieve my morning grogginess, a little bit of Slither will wake me up. One other improvement I would like to see is for players using classic mode to have the same acceleration speed as the other modes. There appears to be a new bot in the game, at least I think it’s a bot, that starts out slightly smarter than the usual bots but when it gets bigger it just goes into a dog-chasing-tail circle. I’m mimicking its color pattern to see if it will confuse other players.

First of all slither io, there are so many better things you could add… like why are all the skins free? Like you could make the skins cost “coins” and you get “coins” on booping snakes and getting on the leaderboard. The custom skin thing can remain free ig. Second: bugs. Every few often when I play the game freezes and I end up dying because of it. It’s really annoying. 3rd: Events or tournaments. You could add stuff like that! If you win you get a lot of coins. It’s basically like a pvp zone. If one player dies, that’s the end of the event for them. Last 3 snakes get coins. Forth: Teams. During the election in 2024, there were two sides: Trump (red) and Harris (blue). And basically if you were on blue or red, your whole team is invincible to you. You could only die by touching the opposing team. You should totally make that another full time game mode! It would bring back sooo many players. These are just suggestions, don’t take them too seriously ☝️☝️☝️

Hey. I used to really love this game, and it’s still a lot of fun to play. However, I noticed something that really disappointed me, which is the use of generative AI in some of the new backgrounds. There are plenty of reasons why I don’t like this, but I’ll shorten them down to not have this to on for too long. Firstly, it uses up a lot of energy. It may seem small when compared to other things that also use energy, but it piles up quick. Secondly, generative AI steals from artists who don’t consent to their art being stolen. That’s really the only way for this AI to be trained, is off of artists who do not consent and are likely actively against it. Third, it’s taking away jobs from artists who could make actual backgrounds for you. I get that you probably don’t want to have to spend money, but it’s such a little price to pay to have something that’s actually made by a human. Fourth, it just.. doesn’t look good. The “art” used for the backgrounds made by generative AI has many flaws that a human artist just could not have in their art because they don’t make sense. Things morph into each other, things are deformed, and overall it’s just very unappealing to look at. I know the developers probably wont read this, but if they do, please try to take what I say into account because I genuinely care about this issue. It takes away a lot of enjoyment from an otherwise completely fun game. And I know, I could just ignore it or not use the backgrounds, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s there.
