SLIDE - Metaverse for Singles

Compared to other dating apps this has a better concept however, you can’t set the distance of who you’re matching with which is my biggest issue at the moment because, I want something close not across the darn country...in addition to that I have 45 year olds liking me. I’m trying to filter a age group in their 20s which is more realistic to mine. I’m trying to enjoy this app but it gets annoying that the people you also hit next on pop up again. The like process is a nice I enjoy it but it’s annoying looking at something and it giving you the notification that gets in the way. I’ve accidentally hearted people because of that issue. Again not a bad app great concept but there is just so much that needs fixing maybe in the future this app will knock over Tinder.

Just like every other dating app. But I must admit this one has more upside. But in reality it’s just like the others. Very attractive women won’t see your profile unless you pay and continue to pay... this includes the boost up feature...(the video chat is great.... However, they won’t allow you to delete all of your videos or photos without keeping one of each. Which means their trying to continue use your pics and videos long after you have deleted your account... You can’t set hard restrictions on age or distance. So you’re going to come across people much further away from you. And much younger or older than you.... This has a much greater volume of younger people than older people. Much older people shouldn’t even consider at this point. This app is still fairly new, but it carries greed for growth and money!!! NEWSFLASH..... No dating site is trying to hook you up with someone. Their trying to make money and more money... FACT!!!!!!!! However, this is one of the better ones......

I’m usually against the dating app but I gave a try. I’ve been using the Slide app for a few days now and it is so far so good! One of the features that I loved the most was the video-only profiles bc it gives you a real sense of meeting the users in person and their lifestyles. Close friends of mine witnessed some events where the profile pics were different from meeting in person but this is no problem with the Slide. Another thing I loved about the Slide was that the dates are done virtually! You don’t need to worry about going outside during the pandemic but you still get to video chat with new people lol If you feel down and want to meet people as before, the Slide app is what you need. I would highly recommend this app to my friends too!
