SIXT rent, share, ride & plus

I have rented with sixth for over a year now consistently. Everything was fine until recently. The customer service representatives are snobby and of no help. Myself and another friend of mine have both been hung up on multiple times. A representative at a branch I went to selected that I wanted coverage from the establishment and I clearly stated I did not and had my own. The people on the phone are telling me it is what it is and they can’t undo anything. There is no corporate structure or anybody willing to help a consistent high paying customer. There was several issues with my past reservation and no grace or significant help from anybody. I was literally charged over 1600 that I did not intend at all on spending. And I always rent luxury vehicles so I am a high paying client already. I feel robbed, bullied, and cornered. I’m now needing to rent with these people until I can get another credit card to start with a new company. And unfortunately I love the vehicles and have loved the service from sixth in general. This is a sad departure but I have been nearly to my knees begging to be heard out, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just rather keep me and my consistent business. To each their own. I wish somebody from your company gave me an ear. I figured I would be owed at least that after the many thousands of dollars spent, but instead I got cut off mid sentence, told to not speak because the man on the phone was speaking, and then told there is nothing they could do. Then woke up to an additional 800+ charge for insurance I did not ask for, and again told there is nothing they can do. DESPICABLE.

A truck for the last couple months from this company and at first, they were fantastic, but over the past couple weeks due to being stuck in the hospital and also having medical emergencies with my family not only have they refused to reach out to me and not only have I caught up on any late payments that I have had due to set medical emergencies. They have also went out of their way to threaten me with embezzlement some people who work at the smaller branches are amazing. The corporation themselves is not. They have also refused to give me back over $400 worth of security deposits. It has been two months and I have not received them back yet so before renting from this company, just understand they’ve had a class action lawsuit against them not just from all the hidden fees that they like to tack on without telling you sing one or two days, they will threaten to report you to the police for embezzlement and keep your money from you note only a couple days late and I was threatened to be reported to the police. This was before them not even returning my security deposits to me after I returned the last cars couple cars in perfect condition how they were given to me, but now it is a fight just to get the money that they owe me. They say it takes 3 to 14 days while it’s been over 60 and I have still not seen it yet.

I used to dread renting a car. I went to book one with another company and it was such an awful online experience that I was ready to give up until I remembered my cousin used Sixt all the time and loved. I reluctantly went online once again, and it was so easy. But the actual proof came when I went to pick up that first car. They could not have been nicer! The service was phenomenal and the car was terrific. I got the app and used it for my second booking. I was terrified that it was going to be problematic. Wrong again! It was so easy! I even got an upgraded car, a BMW. My son was in 7th Heaven in that car. I, as a mom, couldn’t believe how much the lil’ gamer felt like a rockstar. He had never really expressed interest in cars until that moment. I realized Sixt had unknowingly given him a confidence booster in that non-mom car. 😂 Just booked another car with Sixt. Not expecting the dream car. Just happy knowing that I didn’t have a stressful booking experience. I booked it in about 2 minutes. Thanks Sixt!
