SimpleLogin - Email alias

This app is absolutely incredible. I started using SimpleLogin after the Proton acquisition, and as a longtime fan of the Proton suite, I couldn’t be happier. The integration between SimpleLogin and Proton Pass is seamless, and as a lifetime subscriber to both SimpleLogin and Proton Pass Plus, I truly feel like I’m getting the best of both worlds. I’ve created over 600 aliases and have never run into a single issue. It’s super easy to reply to emails or even send outgoing messages using any alias directly from the app. The fact that I can log in using my Proton credentials makes the experience even smoother. If you care at all about privacy, protecting your identity, or keeping your inbox under control, I can’t recommend this enough. I’ve told anyone who will listen about SimpleLogin—it’s that good.

Seriously, this app is great. I got this app bundled with my proton mail subscription and it has been perfect the past privacy reasons I originally intended to get it for. Making new emails is so easy and it integrates well with bitwarden so any time I make a new account with someone it just takes a couple seconds from my Bitwarden browser extension to create a new email + strong password. I have not received any spam yet, but what this excels at is if I ever do, I know exactly who either tried selling my data or was involved in a security breach and I can just deactivate that specific email without affecting or compromising any of my other accounts.

This has been great so far. I received all my forwarding emails without a problem. I like the option to turn off aliases when I want. I like the option to add notes to aliases. I wish the free version allow you to create more aliases continuously- like only 2 per week. I hate that you’re block from creating new alias unless you sign up for premium. If I find another (freemium) service that allows that, I’ll move.
