Shure PLAY

The TW2s are excellent, and I love the PausePlus concept - automatically enabling Environment Mode when you pause. However, it only works when pausing via the TW2 buttons, not from remote controls or in-app pause buttons. This is a problem for me because I wear a helmet while riding my electric unicycle, making the TW2 buttons inaccessible. I have to use a wrist remote to pause, which means I can't use PausePlus at all. Having to manually toggle Environment Mode on my phone while riding creates a safety hazard. Please make PausePlus respond to system-wide pause events, not just TW2 button presses. This should be possible with iOS's playback monitoring APIs. Would make this feature actually usable for helmet users and anyone else who can't easily reach the buttons.

I am a HUGE Shure fan and have had my earbuds since I became a mega commuter in 2011. I've gone through the evolution of earbud cables and wireless connection points. My earbuds have stood the testament of time, and now I finally have complete control over how I experience my media. This app defines how users can micro-adjust every aspect of the audio delivery experience. It allows for customization of my new TW2s, and I can't wait to experience them and the app on an up coming trip from the USA to Asia. I'm leaving my Airpod Pro Max’s in the drawer.

Pros: nice interface, great EQ with custom presets, easy playlist creation, none of the Apple online services (yes, that’s a good thing), no attempt at recreating the Apple “up next” travesty, accessed music library but doesn’t see playlists. Cons: no iPad version, no apparent way to share playlists or EQ presets between devices So, if one wants to only play back from a phone and needs EQ settings for multiple audio systems this is a solid app with a nice interface. It will not replace the app Equalizer on my phone for when in need EQ presets (eg. Bluetooth speakers) though. Am still stuck with the the Apple app to sync playlists. If this app could get the playlists from the Apple app the way Equalizer does, it would get 5 stars and become my go to playback app.
