clubbing to those who hold it in high regard is considered a fine art, and this app allows you to document your critiques while allowing for a sense of human connection, and honestly that is literally what the culture is about, being able to take your perspective and experience and share that with people who can see and connect with you is something we all need more of in our lives, to be seen, to be heard, and with club culture, you consume somebodies creative choices and deliver your own connection to it, and this app allows you to document all of that, did you have opinions of the technical aspects of the show? perfect, there is a section for that. did you only see a certain amount of DJ’s on the card? perfect, there is a section for that. did you have a very lengthy story to tell? perfect, there is a section for that. did you love someone else’s post and wanted to say something? perfect, there is a section for that. did you want to upload any audio footage you recorded during the event? perfect, there is a section for that. (plus many more) if you are somebody that can’t get enough of club spaces, dj’s, club nights and connecting with like-minded people, there is no reason you shouldn’t have setlog my heart. rave on, stay present, tell stories later, 🖤
This was such a fun idea to keep track of your own sets and follow along with what other people are up to. I loved that it was public and communal sharing. With the latest update you can only see what people you’re following are going to… I don’t personally know anyone else who uses the app so it’s just my stuff. Big bummer. The communal and exploratory aspect of it was what really resonated w me. Now it’s just a way to log your own stuff but you get no interaction from it unless you follow a bunch of people.
Obsessed in the best way possible. I love cataloguing whatever sets/shows I’ve been IRL and doing the same for things I end up listening too in the background.
