Secret City: The Human Threat

Update: I still couldn’t get the bonus game to work even with the latest patch. So, I deleted the game, reloaded, played through again, let the credits roll and now I can access the bonus. Hallelujah. Looking forward to playing it. The main game is engaging and enjoyable. I would love to play the bonus game but after updating my IOS version, updating the game, closing/restarting the game, resetting the bonus, I am still unable to play it. As others have reported, it restarts the main game. I have nothing left to try. I do want to thank you for responding to the comments of your reviewers. Not all developers take that approach.

This is a lovely game with challenging puzzles, terrific graphics and music, and an innovative narrative. I loved the thunder and lightning as well as all the authentic London details (one of my favorite cities). But the bonus game is still buggy and was frustrating since I had to begin it again and had more coins and collectibles than required. Still, a small complaint for a wonderful game. Because of a recent move and a sudden retirement, I’ve not been writing reviews as I should have since I do really read and depend on many of you. BTW Lynxminx, if I spelled it correctly, you asked a question some months ago about the dog breed in Wizard of Oz. I did not see it answered but I am fairly sure it is a Cairn Terrier—and in that iconic film he is worth watching, a great little actor. Many thanks to all of you and the developers for carrying on the fight for these games that save sanity on tough days. Final words, buy this game but the bugs in the bonus still need a fix. The update hasn’t yet addressed the issues. Wonderful work on a terrific and thoughtful game. Five stars easily. Moxieruby

I really liked the main game a lot but was very disappointed that there was another problem with a Domini bonus game. I took your advice that you gave to others and let the credits run all the way through. You are then able to click on the Bonus Game, but when it starts it’s the same exact Main Story. Bummer.
