Savee — Inspiration for you

This app caught my attention as a platform for creatives to share inspiration and showcase designs. While the app does offer that, it limits the amount of images you can see for a period of time until it refreshes, you are limited to 150 saved/uploaded images (which didn’t take me longer than like a month of light use.) A Paige majority of the images shared come from other websites or apps that feature the image. In my opinion it’s currently a more sleek and simplified Pinterest that limits your creativity by paywalling its features after limited use. I can’t say this app features anything worth paying for.

This app in theory is lovely. Pinterest without the ads. Wonderful images. A creators dream, however when I paid for a subscription to it for a year I did not have it on an automatic renewal. I never put apps on automatic renewal because I try them first and am never certain of them. This app turned out to have many issues, freezing up, being unable to save certain things etc. I messaged the company and heard nothing back. No help. It was a complete waist of money. Silence on their part. Then I go about my year and suddenly I have a $70 charge in my PayPal and I’m like “what for???” Track it back to this app. My account in on automatic renewal. I email them and again silence. Switch it off. Go back later and the automatic renewal is on again! I don’t know if it’s a defect not sure, but their customer service is not helping AT ALL. It feels very scammy and I want to warn others.

I have been using this platform for over a year now. It’s the best thing I’ve found to keep the things that inspired me. The quality of user curation is so much higher that any of the other pinboard platforms. I love the clean layout of the board, however my one complaint is that the UX to save to different boards could use some improvement.
