I get that paid vs ad is a balance. It needs to lean towards evaluating the product without being so restrictive that it feels exploitative. I tried but it repeats long ads too soon. Looking elsewhere
Only used it for 60 seconds, was so annoyed by those full screen pop up video ads I deleted. It from my phone. Jokes on me! I would have given it Zero Stars if it was possible. $5.99 to remove the noisy full screen ads that didn’t allow skipping for about 30 seconds. Big Thumbs down for this greedy developer. The app itself might be worth 99 cents based on what it provides once you get past those pop ups.
I was curious to find out if an application existed that could show much more information about the iPhone's GPS, including which satellites were being used. This is the app I settled on. It does the job, though the user interface feels sloppy (elements and text overlapping when they should not). Also, even though an option exists to pay and remove the ads, I feel like I am being forced to go down that route if I actually want to use the app. As of this writing, a full screen ad with video shows up every two minutes or so. The ad does not clear without intervention, which is a bad idea while one is driving! I wouldn't mind paying for the ad free version, if it didn't feel like I was being forced to do so. This would be great with minor UI improvements and a bit less/less intrusive advertising.
