Salams: Halal Muslim Marriage

I used to really like this app, but it has completely gone downhill. If you are thinking about paying for Diamond Premium, save your money because the core features simply do not work anymore. First off, the filters are completely broken. The main reason you pay for premium is to filter by ethnicity, distance, and language, but the app constantly shows you people way outside of your set preferences. And this isn't a case of "running out of people" in your area—the algorithm will just randomly throw in people from outside your filters, then go back to your actual preferences, making the whole system incredibly frustrating to navigate. Without working filters, the premium membership is completely worthless. On top of that, they completely removed the anti-ghosting feature for Diamond members, which was one of the few benefits actually worth paying for. The new interface is terrible and a huge step backward. You can no longer keep track of people’s saved profiles to message them later, and there’s absolutely no record of who you liked or favorited. You just swipe into a void. To make matters worse, customer service is non-existent. I’ve reached out with complaints about these bugs and missing features, and I've gotten zero response. It genuinely feels like the developers deliberately want their own app to suffer and fail. Until they fix the filters and bring back basic usability, I highly recommend staying away from their paid tiers.

Aslamlkeum. I have been on this Salams app and other app, MuzMatch app for more than 6 years. Now, I have found someone who is so amazing, sincere, kind, humble, beautiful, and many other words that I cannot express enough to describe her, but all I can say is that naseeb bring us together by the way of Allah SWT, and I am so grateful forever. My friendly advice for all of you who have been on this app(s), sabr is the main key to getting a successful match and keep praying tahajjud as long as you can with sincerity, I am sure you will find someone to get married with. I have been praying tahajjud for months and alhamduiallh, I was not expected at all when I got matched, and then we kept talking for months leading to marriage. All I can say is that I am extremely grateful to Allah SWT for bringing her to me because she is so much more than my dream woman. In conclusion, I wish you guys all the best on your endeavors and have sabr (patience). Please take care and always be thankful of Allah SWT. On the final note, this app is genuine, useful, has great features, many good potential matches, and finally, I believe this is the part where it is important to be truthful what you put on your profile leading to get a good match. Although I liked new features such as personality types, it would helpful to be able to filter by personality type and other things such as love languages or even if they are gold/platinum/etc. members. For some people who take personality types, we have an idea of who we might me compatible with and could be a good place to start. It’s good to have in mind when going through profiles and have more nuanced filters that can inshallah help us find a spouse. If we already paying, I would like to narrow down my pool by people that might be more compatible! Also please consider a ranking feature (for self) where we can sort through matches and profiles to help us categorize profiles we like and interested in. Having a long list of swipes makes it hard to figure out what we would like and potential people we would like to match with. I feel like the telegram feature doesn’t really work and I would like to find/match with people who are also active and actively looking for someone. This is why I mostly swipe on other people who are also playing for gold/platinum/etc. since it shows there more likely to be on the app. Overall, I know there’s people who are serious about marriage and people always saying they can’t seem to find serious/active people, so a feature where we can connect with others who are more active would be helpful, especially since we’re paying a lot to have more features!!!
