baklava: Arab Relationships

I’ve had my account hacked twice, where my photos were changed. The first time this happened I was told it’s my fault and the ONLY way this could happen is if someone’s took my phone. When it happened again, they told me to just delete my account and make a new account….because you know clearly I am the problem. I also had 3 fake baklava accounts made on this application with people using my photos. One of the accounts was verified with a checkmark. So if you see a “verified” checkmark ✅ PLEASE BE AWARE it could be a fraudulent account. Every time this has happened they say the member has been permantely banned, but clearly not…they literally take zero accountability and just say “sorry”. Their security features are zbaleh 🗑️ Protect yourself and tread with caution when using Baklava. They do not take user safety seriously AT ALL and that in itself is problematic.

I'm a big fan of this app. Great interface and features - I've recommended it for all my friends already from day 1! Reading some of the other reviews, I don't see a need for a religion filter like everyone is saying. It's funny how everyone wants that filter because of "how a deal breaker religion is for some people, but not me though". Might be better to recommend features for YOURSELF, and not other people that might need it lol Baklava CEO: Keep up the great work!

The concept of the app is great, but there are several flaws that need to be fixed. One, there should be a filter for religions. I’m not picky but some people are super picky when it comes to the other persons religion. Wish we could tolerate that but what can you do? Next, the people on this app are super far away from you, which doesn’t make sense. I’d think anyone who is dating would rather prefer to chat and meet someone that is local or at least no more than an hour away from them. Finally, it seems like there are many inactive and fake profiles. The app needs to find a way to rid of these inactive accounts and fake profiles. I’ve had a hard time chatting or matching with anyone on this app. I have a higher chance of matching on Bumble and Hinge, than on here.
