The app is always dropping for some reason. Secondly, I find having to watch two ads before it connects with the Programme your trying to watch is very annoying and as a result you might miss what you wanted to watch and you also have a negative approach to the ads, which I think your advertiser might want to know about. Thirdly, the stupid sound which you have to listen to during the interval is extremely annoying. In my opinion, the RTE App is not user friendly and could be much better. I trust the above helps to improve the App.

I bought a new iPad a couple of months ago because the old one couldn’t support all the upgrades. The new one started off ok but it’s not playing recent episodes of Fair City. It keeps replaying an episode from two weeks ago. No problem with the iPhone, though. I can watch everything from the RTÉ Player on it. Re the iPad, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times with no change. It won’t let me even go to the home page. What suggestions do you have for me ? Update 2021. Still having problem trying to watch numerous episodes of Fair City. Sometimes I can binge watch, other times the episode reply’s the first half of the program and reverts to the episode start instead of playing the second half. App will close without warning. Fails to resume after a pause in a program for commercials. The previous version was far superior to this one. It’s actually hard to believe that RTÉ saw fit to release this horrible update . I recently re-downloaded the app and it will not open. All I get is a blank white screen.
