I’m going to start with the pros that I have for RollerCraft. I enjoy the level editor and the ability to share levels. I enjoy that I don’t lose any balls when I fall off the platforms or hit any of the obstacles. I enjoy the music of the levels. I enjoy the designs of all the characters in the role category. Lastly, I enjoy the themes of the obstacles in each level. However, my cons list is quite big, maybe even bigger than my pros list. I don’t like that there are forced ads in between official level completions. I don’t like how difficult it is to master the level editor. Along with that, I don’t like that there isn’t a tutorial for the level editor. I don’t like that the backgrounds for most of the levels are AI-generated. I don’t like that the APP icon is AI-generated. I don’t like that some of the items or themes in shared levels from the beta version of the game can’t be found in the full release version’s level editor. Lastly, I don’t like that the levels have to be looked up by ID instead of by name. Those are my pros and cons of RollerCraft. Overall, I give it a 4/10.
this game is quite literally a better version of rolling sky in every single way. no limited balls, some skins don’t have an unfair advantage compared to others, no keys needed to unlock levels, no monetization in gameplay’s way; meaning you can play this without ever worrying about anything to pay for! and anything that needs paying is optional! so it’s your choice if you want to support the game or not (which I think it’s deserved tbh). and the best feature of all is the level editor and community levels! this alone if the game gets enough traction can allow it to live for years without any updates! I really hope the game more attention that it deserves!
I’ve always wanted to make my own rolling sky level and now I can but there are many issue with this game 1: most things are unclear on how to use them or how they work being really confusing to work with 2: most of the original games parts or objects are missing but I’m assuming they’ll be added in later 3: I’ve come across allot of visual bugs such as the movers not appearing to move or movers connecting to ground that’s not adjacent to it or just not working how it’s supposed to some times. 4: I wish more of the original games mechanics were included but I assume those would be added in later if possible 5: I really am buged that you can’t listen to the music your using while you edit the level 6: some text is translated Ok that’s all thank you and sry for my massive review
