Refind Self

Refind Self is a game that surprised me. I didn’t expect much going in, but the small world housed inside this game feels very cozy, and encourages you to check every corner. The way you play the game changes the end result: your personality assessments. What kind of person do you want to be? How can your small choices change the world around you? This game asks these questions and more. Even after finishing the main story, I’m still playing to figure out all the endings. I can’t say much more without spoilers. I didn’t really know what to expect when downloading this game, I was really just looking for something and was bored but this game really is a little hidden gem. There is loads of random stuff to do and even though I might not always know what is going on I just love the idea of all the hidden and fun stuff you can do. I really like the concept and with the limited actions and depending on if you are gunning for a certain personality it really makes you change how you play the game. I love the music and just the art style and everything about the game so far, I plan on unlocking all the secrets I can find. I really recommend this if you just have 3 dollars to kill and think with all the work that went into it, it’s not at all a bad deal. I hope you guys enjoy it if you do get it and just follow the coast. :)

A game about death, emotions, and spending life the best you can in a dying world. This game is perfect: the gameplay encourages making changes to each loop so its far from boring, the story slowly shows itself at a good pace so it has great surprises when you think you know what is around the corner, and the ending is hard hitting and heart warming. Ive never had much of an emotional reaction when playing games, but this game did it plenty. I completely recommend it for anyone who likes story games
