Recycle at Boots

Great to be able to recycle hard to recycle items, but a few hurdles. First many cases of computer says no. Upload 3 similar items and 1 is rejected for not being as category when it is. Trying a different photo doesn’t seem to help. But hit rate around 80%. Second is the timing, hadn’t realised on 1st use you only have 3 days max to use and it’s only in store. Headed back to store but items I wanted were more expensive in store than online- what’s that about? So I wasted the first voucher but now I know to only exchange when I’m ready to shop, but worth it even so to put items in for recycling

I can’t get this app to work. I downloaded it from the App Store and followed the instructions to set it up but it says I have an incorrect email or password. After numerous attempts to change the password I am now told to contact customer support - but how? No details provided. So I googled customer service, found a phone number, called it and was asked to leave a message but was then told the mailbox was full! Clearly customer service must be overwhelmed by requests for help. I have now emailed them but I’m not holding my breath! All I want to do is recycle my blister packs responsibly but at this rate I’ll have even more packs to recycle due to treatment for the stress this process has caused! PLEASE sort this app out! I even deleted the app and tried to create a new account but that didn’t help as it said the email was already in use - GRRRR!

Amazing when it works. However, requires WiFi in the shop often I have no signal and my phone refuses to connect to boots free WiFi hence checking into the recycling point doesn’t work and I have had to leave with a bag full of empties. A lot of commonly sold brands in boots aren’t listed e.g bubble skincare and even when selecting the “unknown” or “not listed” category items have been rejected for having the brand incorrectly selected so these categories serve little to no function. Would be amazing if the app was faster, didn’t require WiFi and the options where you have an unlisted brand genuinely got accepted.
