Potions & Spells: Idle Witches

I’m a bit conflicted on what to rate this because I know the game is still being worked on and for the past five days I truly had a blast! The vibes are perfectly witchy and every ad felt worth it for the perks they bring. And while there were times where the game crashed and I lost some progress, it was never so bad that I wanted to set the game down and not pick it back up. However, the game progression is way too fast. I didn’t spend a dime and was able to unlock every station really quickly. I then thought I’d work on getting all the clothes and decor, but the only reward for getting them is boosts to unlock more stations, or to make the coven cute. Now I am in no way against making my coven the cutest it can be, but the tasks needed to do that are rather boring. Those tasks are less boring when you do them naturally in pursuit of unlocking more stations, but once the stations are gone it’s quite the grind for such little payoff. Either the amount of money you get could be lessened or there could be ways for money to still be valuable after unlocking all stations so there’s incentive to get clothes/decor outside of just aesthetics. I know there are many updates to come so I do recommend getting it! I just wish I could’ve played for longer :)

I’m actually really enjoying this game but the farther I get the more it crashes and then I lose all the progress I’ve made since the beginning of that login which is really frustrating. Overall it has so much potential though so I hope the crashing bugs get fixed up at some point ✨ Update: even after the new update it still crashes. At this point I stopped playing because it won’t even open for me anymore when I click on the app icon. Itll show that’s it’s fully loaded then close immediately.

I absolutely adore this game! It’s giving cats and soup but with witches and girly occult! You can farm, craft potions and spells, customize your witch and her room and build your own little white/good witch coven! Everything about this game screams cozy! I can literally play for hours! I’m not sure what’s coming soon to the farm but animals that you can raise would be top tier! I would also love to see more stations to add to the coven. There’s not much I can criticize or suggest because the game is actually perfect as it is! I also greatly appreciate the lack of ads! I love a good mobile game with little to no ads! I also love the multiplier that you can get from the raven very frequently just for watching a short ad! You can literally play for a short time and have a lot of currency to customize your witches room. It’s a must play for sure! I’m obsessed with it at the moment and can’t put it down. Thank you for making such an amazing cozy game! I can’t wait to see what comes next!
