Forest Fables: Cozy pixel sim

I absolutely love this game! It is so fun and cozy and very relaxed. I played it before the developers made a big update and fixed a lot of things and I can already tell that the update fixed a lot. The games are fun and feasible, and the characters all have their quirks - which is such a great addition! Problems I have experienced/ things that aren’t quite my favorite: 1. I don’t particularly like the fact that in order to get explorer keys, which you need to progress in the game, the price just keeps getting significantly higher each time you purchase. It makes it a little hard to progress. 2. I seem to have encountered a bug of some sorts, after buying a house every time I put any decorations on the wall (including windows) they disappear whenever I reload the game. The app still says they are placed but you can’t see them. Things I love: 1. I love the art style! It gives the perfect combination of cozy and aesthetic! 2. I love the fact that each character has their own likes and dislikes, as well as their own phrases and all around personality. 3. I love the decorations available in the game! As a plant girly I especially love the fact that there are a lot of plant options! Anyways, either way I do super highly recommend you play this game! It is super fun and relaxing, and the perfect way to wind-down after a long day in the real world.

Downloaded to support an indie developer and the game is a great start already, though obviously concerns arise with a few things; Paying By Week / Period for no ads: this is a bummer, I and many others would rather pay one lump sum (i.e. a 5 or 10 dollar charge to support the team), because it feels more like an expense to constantly be budgeting a game ad removal subscription into most of our paychecks, regaedless of it being monthly or weekly. Colorblind Inaccessibility: I am mostly red green colorblind , but struggle with all colors, the carrot turnip game & baking game are both difficult due to the dependency on color difference, and its very hard to tell orange (?) carrots from grey (?) turnips on the oddly shaded green background it has, and the croissant itself and its baking dial are hard to color differentiate for me. Months lasting a single day, forced accelerated time frames for quests: it makes it bothersome to try to find all npcs or possible quests when each day is a new month, as well as the fact it makes the early game more difficult with needing to pay rent and constantly repair the tent or clean other homes because of the lack of time and energy available. 3/5 because its new and i am genuinely interested where this goes, but its a bit of a bummer to see a game promoting budgeting and smart saving offering micro transactions and monthly subscriptions instead of lump sums and more mini games. i respect that ads help a game run, but more people would be willing to pay a little for a game with no ads than pay alot to remove ads from a game with them

This game is adorable and super cozy! I love that it teaches you about finances, too! Forest Fables has a crazy amount of potential. I love it so much and I want to see it and the dev team thrive! I’d really like to see the option for Cloud save added at some point! I want to spend money to help support the game; but I don’t feel comfortable spending when there isn’t a save option/account link. Being able to somehow interact with other players would also be so nice!! The mini games are so fun and the characters are amazing! Overall the game is charming as heck and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s added!
