Pointless Quiz

Whenever I try to open the app it just replays the intro in a loop and I can’t enter the game. I really want to play this game but have only been able to play it once due to the fact that this stupid intro won’t stop. I am unimpressed and this needs to be sorted as I payed £1.99 for this and it won’t let me in the actual game. I understand that £1.99 is not a lot but I can’t just be throwing money about like that for things that don’t work. Please fix this. My friend plays the game and he had it way longer than me and about 8 months ago this was not happening. I really want to play it and it looks brilliant and if this wasn’t happening it would be 5 star without a shadow of a doubt. Please fix this. Many thanks, R45M

Good fun but can be irritatingly specific in accepting answers. A question on religious places required “Westminster Abbey” (“Westminster” got 100) and “St Marks” (“St Marks basilica” got 100). The single player game is multiple choice, like the earlier series, while the two-player game allows free text. Questions haven’t been updated since about 2015, and it’s irritating having to remember the old cost of Prom tickets, previous tv presenters and countries’ former names etc. The free questions ran out quickly but extra questions (which are also old) don’t cost much. I play whenever I can!

I play this most days depending on how long it takes my opponent to answer! Sometimes questions are repeated but you must expect that with any game. I do get frustrated when I give an answer that would be correct on the show but is deemed wrong on the app i.e. "Graham LeSaux" and "Graham Le Saux". Also lost a game to an opponent that wrote "Smith" when clearly they had no idea. Also, would like a direct messaging option. I have had over 400 games against one opponent and I don't even know their real name!
