The app itself seems fine, but it was absolutely pointless during our settlement process. No information was supplied to it, and our conveyancer didn’t use it for bank details, so it was completely pointless. It did alert us when settlement was complete, which was ok, but PEXA really need to make certain information compulsory to be supplied so we actually know what is going on. Otherwise this app has absolutely no purpose to most users.
This app is fine, as an app, but it doesn’t really do much during the process of sale. It seems like just another charge to vendors and purchasers. It didn’t help me to see what my conveyancer was actually doing to earn their money, and in fact, they (said conveyancer) seemed pretty hopeless at keeping on top of what was happening. They even sent a request for the deposit to be transferred months after it was already done, and then asked me for a hard copy of my title after already charging me twice for a digital copy. Perhaps something like this app could do better to keep all communication more streamlined, documents at hand and processes more coherent. PEXA key definitely has potential but I found it utterly useless. It’s a redundant system that is over administration and doesn’t add anything to the process of selling a house. Again, useless.
First problem: Couldn’t print terms and conditions of use required to be accepted to use the app. I left feedback that should have ‘email me terms and conditions’ option like Apple. No way to see how to copy save / print select all from my phone. I have to agree but can’t get a copy of what I have agreed to. T&Cs are available within the App, but still no print / send option. Second problem: Went to log out, but after clicking logout taken straight back to login screen and prompt to enter PIN number. So a circuitous bug / error. My feedback was this logout error not what I would expect from a property transfer app used by lawyers in Australia ostensibly to protect and build trust in property transfers. A logout error I would expect to see on a cheap build app. This error reduces my trust in the platform.
