I’m learning so much and growing in my faith. When I sin, I feel remorse once again! My conscience has been seared for years. Thank you for helping to restore my heart to God. I am going to my first Orthodox Church this Sunday. May God bless you and use this app to expand the kingdom of heaven. (Note: the “sacred music” section has a bug where none of the tracks show up or load. Would love to hear some beautiful chants soon, so I hope this gets fixed)
I listen to the Synaxarion daily and have done so for a year. I have been using the new app for a month now. On the website I never encountered a day without at least one reading. On the app, however, some days are “blank.” Such was the case for August 4, 6, 7, 8, 12 & 14. Maybe the recordings are missing tags? And then when I try to search the saints that should be on that day by name, they appear to be locked. Thank you for the new calendar update.
I use iPad in horizontal mode so it can stay attached to a keyboard. When I installed the PNP app, it won't rotate and display across the screen; instead it can only be viewed with the iPad in vertical position, with the keyboard up in the air. Since all my other apps auto rotate, I don't think it's my settings. If you can fix this, or let me know how to fix it, it would be great. Kudos to Fr. Josiah, the people of St. Andrews and the entire staff of PNP for taking a faith-based rather than marketing approach. Inquirers shouldn't have to buy things just to explore the teachings of the Church. Orthodoxy is such a paradigm shift from most western religions...it can take a really long time to consider the teachings before one is even ready to go to a service or meet a priest. You have everything here in one place from the earliest Saints to the latest sermons and I look forward to exploring all the sections. Thank you so much for making it free!
