I had so many problems when I started using this app: not being able to check in, checking in but not having it recorded on the other end, calling and texting to troubleshoot numerous times! Finally, the app is working as it should and I can check in on the app when I am at the gym and it gets recorded! 🥰 Hopefully next year the app instructions are better—more specific about having to be within 500 feet or whatever from the gym to check in—and the bugs have been worked out.
They keep making this app worse and more difficult to access. To log in, you have to go through excessive number of steps and receive a text with a validation. Face ID never used to work, but at least they seem to have fixed that problem so that it works at least most of the time. However, for some reason they added a slide button to check into your gym, where you have to slide an arrow across a button to check in. I’m not sure what the point of this is, but it usually takes me about 10 slides before it actually works. So ridiculous. It’s almost like they are making it difficult on purpose so it’s harder to get reimbursed from your insurance company for your gym membership. But I know that couldn’t possibly be the reason. That would be unethical.
I was told by customer service on Friday Jan 2nd (2026) that there was an issue with the app that IT was working on and to check on Monday for the issue to be fixed. Every time I try to login to the app it tells me “there was an issue authenticating my account information”. I am using my Health Safe ID to login like I do for everything else having to do with my insurance so I know that isn’t the issue. I also see from other recent reviews (some from over the weekend) that others HAVE been using this app successfully!!! I feel like customer service basically lied to me when they said the app was down and being worked on. I have lost MULTIPLE days of tracking my health rewards due to this!! If someone doesn’t get this working for me today, I’m going to file a grievance with my company. ***Update*** Jan 8th- I was able to FINALLY get into the app on Monday afternoon but as others have mentioned, Stride will not sync with my IPhone health app/Apple Watch so literally every day, I’m missing out on premium discounts!!! Yall really need to get this fixed ASAP!!
