Disappointed…First Impression

I am new to this app and when I heard my employer supported this, I thought great, this would be a great opportunity to access funds for an emergency I had run into. However, the first issue I ran into was that I couldn’t access funds immediately even though I had already worked almost a full pay period. I was told that their pay period ends on Tuesday, which makes no sense because what if someone runs into a problem after their pay period ends. The second issue I ran into was that after a new pay period started, I attempted to once again access funds. However, I was told my employer has to process the time card first and then I will see my earnings show up to be able to access instapay. However, my job along with most peoples jobs doesn’t approve time cards daily or weekly but usually right after or when the pay period ends. Therefore, the whole app is a waste of my time. What’s the point of the app then? I’m very disappointed because I was in a tight spot, still am, where those funds could have really come in handy even if it were just that little amount. One@work needs to do better because there’s a lot about this app that screams false advertising. You really should be more honest about the whole instapay from the start.

Essential App for Walmart employee’s

I am a Walmart associate and I started about 2 months ago. Even was one of the recommended apps to download for all Walmart employees. I did not expect this app to be as useful as it is. I personally hate getting paid every 2 weeks, but because of Walmarts massive number of employees, they need 2 weeks to make sure everyone’s wages are accurate. With Even you can take control of your paycheck and decide when you want to get paid. With the Instapay feature up to half your paycheck can be transferred within a day to your bank account. Also, if you’re a Walmart associate, you get the instapay feature for free. I also have found the savings feature useful as you can set aside multiple savings goals that are controlled by you and automatically deducted from your paycheck. This app is really useful and again, a must download if you work at Walmart. There is a fee for Instapay for everyone else.

Like it, just needs a little improvement

I’ve used this app for almost a year now. And I like all the features and my bank used to be connected and now they aren’t but I think it was issue on their side so I’m not exactly stressing about it or blaming this app. However there are little things that I think could help improve the app. 1. I think if you were to attempt to use the Instapay feature and pull money but for whatever reason wanted to cancel it, you could just go to the ticket and select to cancel it instead of having to wait for a specific time to talk to an Advisor whom I’m sure could be helping someone who has some genuine questions or concerns. 2. I think it would be a neat feature to make it where if a user of this app was paying for the full subscription of even plus they should get everything that comes with the app. I just feel like that’s a big thing with paying monthly. You should have access to everything that you’re putting money into. It would be a bit different if it was a one time purchase and/or something to look into. 3. It would be very helpful if the menus were just a little more specific and organized. Now I think how it separates the planning and pay stubs/instapay and the account options it very good. But, for example, I was attempting to access and cancel my instapay from +3 weeks ago and it took me probably about 5 - 10 minutes just to figure out where I was supposed to go. I just find some of the things in or about the app confusing. I will definitely still continue to use this app because it’s super nice how it tells you your schedule, predicted hours and the hours you actually end up with, your past paystubs (which are also printable), what you’ve made so far in the pay week and so on and so forth.
