I have been using this app for years and it has always been great. It’s very easy to use and makes pictures look wonderful. Recently it was crashing constantly, and after reaching out to the Instagram profile, the creators provided great customer service. They communicated complications and as soon as the app was fixed they reached out to let me know.
I like the app I use it a lot after I do my initial edits in Lightroom and makes it easier for a nice flare than pulling it into photoshop. My only complaints are I do a lot of editing on my iPad and it crashes a lot or freezes where I can’t get past the photo select screen. That and I wish it could rotate to landscape. The way the app locks into portrait mode is more of an inconvenience when laying down or charging while I’m editing. That and options for export would be nice such as tiff, jpg quality, original etc. small things that I know I would make me use this app more than just the occasional photos for my feeds. Still a good app but has its draw backs.
Purchased this day one of release, and not to my surprise the features and looks of the filters are very nice for a new release. Only a few minor bugs with the chroma and adding different layers to the image, but ease of use - at a glance - is very appealing. The thing I noticed right away when adding a filter or adding additional fine tuning like exposure and what not, the effects compound each time you go back into said effect. For example, if I added a full stop of exposure, and wanted to make an adjustment moments later, I can't go back in continue adding or taking away without accounting for what was already added. If the first time I do -20 on exposure, leave that category, make changes and go back to exposure, the image thinks that -20 is now the 0 baseline, if that makes sense. This is not a huge setback, but the fact that there is no undo button makes the edit harder, because if I don't remember what those adjustment numbers were I have to start from scratch each time. That's my only interface observation so far. The Actual problem I'm facing at the moment is 100% app crash anytime I finish my edit and click next. It outright crashes and takes me back to my homescreen, so I don't even know what is suppose to happen after the first edit interface. I paid into the pro version day 1, so I hope this gets patched soon, I really want to continue using this app! I am currently using iPhone 8+
