If you are anti-AI you should delete and report this app as well as their discord for child endangerment. They actively lie to their userbase about how things are moderated because they are lazy. They are using AI to collect data on every single thing you upload and type into this app. Every piece of art that you upload is being used to train AI so your art is being stolen. They are allowing people to catfish and steal real peoples pictures from Instagram so that they can hookup and date each other. AI is being used to memorize peoples faces and bodies. The fact that this app is 12+ should concern people. They were not done with this app and it is constantly in beta mode which puts children and teenagers at risk. They admittedly do not have a DM feature because they know this community is almost impossible to moderate and people can always lie about ages and there is no limit. It basically does not matter though because once someone takes it to discord, it is no longer OCSN’s responsibility. The age restrictions do not work because of how incompetent the devs are. If they want to build an app just for children then that’s also weird. I have no doubt in my mind that the intent behind this app is foul. If you find this on your kid’s phone, remove it. And talk to them.

So far, I’ve had the app for a few weeks. I once wrote another review- rating it four stars, given I didn’t feel I could just yet rate is five of five. Yet the app and its developers have proven time and time again, that this app and its purpose is taken very seriously. The community feels personally between the creators and us members—and I’ve been shocked (positively) over how kind and helpful the creators/developers/staff have been. Just in this past month, I’ve seen the app grow so much, in liveliness, creativity, community and features. The features I had hoped would be implemented to further improve our member experience in-app have not only been added, but also that they have gone beyond my expectations! I have loved watching this app grow—and while still being in the “earlier” developing stages of the app, I’m eager to see what truly becomes of it!! I’ve loved so many memories and people I’ve met on this app, and I’m so thankful to have a team of people who truly care about individuality and creativity among the uprise of our society that is dulling those components of humanity. I don’t mean to glaze too hard—I still feel as if there are parts of my experience and the app itself that can be improved upon. But this is more so to really show my appreciation for the work and especially how unique this app is! I love it so much—and hope that this review is something that people are able to agree on :)

While I love this app, the tight regulations to allow kids makes it impossible to feel secure when roleplaying. I cannot have my characters have deep conversations or playful banter without risking getting banned because the regulations on this app are even tighter than regular social media, not to mention, you have a content warning tag for potentially disturbing content and yet at the same time you explicitly state in your community guidelines that most content that would require that tag is NOT ALLOWED AT ALL. I would gladly make my pages private or even 18+ only, but you haven’t implemented that function. It’s fun, but after discovering the poor design and the over-sensitive restrictions because of that poor design, I am tempted to just make regular social media accounts for them instead as at least then there would be some form of actual restrictions on interaction and realistic community guidelines. The entire premise of this app is that the content within it is fictional. When you start treating it as if it is more real than real people’s social media, it no longer is fun. It is no different than an interactive story, and yet this app treats it like it is real life. None of us are on there to be ourselves, we are there to be fictional characters and say fictional things.
