The game itself is pretty fun and the concept is unique. I think getting used to the game takes some time as well as getting used to the app. I wish there was a little more guidance because I got stuck at a part but the hints were a little too vague and no help, and I somehow ended up bypassing half the game on accident. I’m unsure if you’re supposed to play the game as you unlock things, or try and solve everything from the outside first and then work your way in. I’m still experimenting to see what works best, but there is definitely potential!
They definitely updated the app (for those looking at older reviews) and we just finished the Family Portrait. Played this is broad daylight and was still very eerie and suspenseful. The app is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. Very well set up and was a lot of fun. Hope to see and buy more expansions from you guys!
Just got done playing (lord of the labyrinth). There’s times when you interact with a location, taking an object, but the app does NOT tell you to remove that location card. Then in hints it refers to a location card behind the one that we weren’t told to remove so obviously it should have been removed, but again we were not instructed to anywhere. Very frustrating and makes game impossible to complete. Developers, go back and play your game and you’ll see what I mean. Great concept, mostly solvable riddles, but bad execution.
