I’ve had my device for about 6 months now and the app just stop working on my phone on Aug 15th 3 days after getting my device tested at the doctor. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it’s not working. I just reset my phone and is still having the same issue. It has never done this before I do close out the app sometimes because I didn’t know I was suppose to leave it running in the background but after visiting the doctor I never force close the app. I have a older iPhone which is the 7 and I can’t afford to go upgrade at the moment.
In the last few weeks the app appears to be having an issue. I keep the app open and running; however, sometimes I notice the Home Screen shows a symbol that appears to indicate it’s not connected. I’m not receiving any kind of message or warning, but it’s stuck on that screen. I have to close then reopen the app to see the normal home screen. My concern is if the app is actually connected and receiving info during the times it appears to be down. I’ve had my device and used this app for almost 4 years and this is not something it’s done before. Not sure what to rate this comment…5 stars based on past performance, but there’s no wiggle room for performance if it’s not doing its very important job!
Lost my Merlin pairing after a Apple general update. I reinstalled app, it is still not reading a day later. Called support, they were patient with me (at73yrs) had me go through the set up again. However, did not feel they understood my concerns. 20 min later they called me back and had me reinstall the app (and the app update). We will see!!! Why can’t we be advised when app updates are needed?? Hope this helps others!
