For an app made by such a massive company i don’t understand how it is one of the worst food ordering apps Ive ever used. It fails and glitches more often than it doesn’t. Every time I use it something goes wrong, loading times are a joke and the screen seems to change to whatever it feels like displaying at any given moment. every update i’m still waiting to see the supposed improvements. I’m constantly attempting to order food that i’m only told is unavailable once I’m at the final payment screen. the gps tracker that is supposed to work out when you are near the store is basically useless as well. A recommendation is that if the users card doesn’t have enough money on it for the transaction, let them know?? I’ve embarrassed myself a few times at the maccas payment window already because I thought my card went through, since, yknow, the app told me so. It’s nice that when you redeem a coffee though the alternative milk price is wiped for you. Makes it feel like a reward.

Recently the Maccas app has removed the option to customise and add syrups to an iced latte. This is so they can charge you more for a “flavoured” iced latte or the extortionate price of a “deluxe iced coffee” which is again the same thing but adding almost $3 more for some whipped cream. The difference between getting an iced latte with syrup added vs a “flavoured” iced latte is about 30 cents which is much but considering they’re the exact same thing, it’s beyond a joke. And if you’re going to stop letting us add syrups to our iced latte you could at the very least allow us to choose a flavoured or deluxe iced coffee as part of our free coffee reward. Money hungry pigs have raised their prices more than enough yet still trying to find ways to screw their customers out of more money by removing very reasonable customisation options through the entire app. Bring back the syrups in an iced latte or at the very least stop charging extra money for something that literally doesn’t cost that much. You already charge 80 cents for syrups, making them cost $1.20 in a “brand new beverage, is pure corporate greed and you should be ashamed

McDonalds has reached the kind of ubiquity usually reserved only for the very foundations of reality. Water. Fire. Earth. Air. How does one, in this situation, even begin to approach writing a “review”. Sixty-eight million people are served every day at McDonald's, which is approximately 1 percent of the world population. Due in part to this unimaginable footprint on the worlds primary industries, the competitive edge on almost every aspect of production has whittled down efficiency to the point where we routinely enjoy offers for the $1 Big Mac. What does this mean for the “Big Mac Index”? The Big Mac index was a monetary tool to determine if a currency was overvalued. A Big Mac costs £3.39 in Britain and US$5.71 in the United States. With an implied exchange rate of 0.59, the difference between this and the actual exchange rate, 0.79, suggests that the British pound is 25.1% undervalued. Could it mean that the means of production is closing in on a theoretical maximum efficiency? Could we see the cost of production shift to a point where we see a free Big Mac? What does this mean for democratic capitalism? The only place we can continue to reliably monitor this situation is from within the “mymacca’s” app and by unlocking, participating, and validating it’s various combinations of deals and offers. In this role of barometer to international monetary affairs it is peerless, and for this reason alone it can only be given 5 stars. I look forward to tasting the free Big Mac with you, comrades.
