We just purchased the 2026 Ioniq 9 performance Calligraphy, I felt that there were quite a few steps to get completely online with two drivers, two different profiles, two different phones, usually in a regular vehicle I could set up everything for my husband and I but both parties need to be present because of the fingerprint thing, but finally got it all set and done, though I still have not set up the Wi-Fi. But now the app is out of sync with the car or something is wrong because we set it to charge overnight went to go drive it and the app said it was charging, but it was what it was when we first plugged it in, when we got in it and drove away, the App is saying that it is still charging and it still at 56%. Both my husband and my app are saying the same thing, I have tried refreshing the app, I have tried closing out the app, and it’s still saying the same thing it is out of sync with the car, fortunately the car has the correct numbers, I looked online and saw that you could reset the whole thing and I don’t wanna do that because I just barely finished getting everything set up! Now I have deleted the app and will reinstall it and see if that resolved it. When I looked this issue up online, it said that it is a known issue, so what’s going on and why hasn’t it been Fixed?
I have you say… I never thought I would get a fully electric vehicle for at least another decade. I fell into this lease out of convenience and Robert took me out with a bunch of keys. As we walked across the lot to the car I told Robert I’m just looking to pay x amount for a lease. Color, style, etc. the first that was unlocked closest to us we got in. Robert was awesome and so was the gentleman he set me up with. He did all the hard work with getting the lease done…. I’m sorry for not remembering 🤔 maybe Mark?…anyhow, I digress… I took the keys and it didn’t hit me until I drove it a couple hundred miles. I’ve driven my brothers Tesla model s and until now, I never thought how convenient it would be to have that much power behind the wheel and used only when needed. I’m pretty sure it can compete, if not beat, Tesla in a race. “I usually just drive it in eco with full regen breaking”. It’s stylish, it’s super easy to fast charge when needed. *You have enough range to just go home and check if the charge station is opened. No stress, 300 plus miles @ 100%!!*, the comfort 👌❤️❤️. Thanks hyundai, for getting me in my first fully electric and first lease. Can’t wait to see what comes out next.
First Impressions: They have done several nice things with the app, and if this was 60 years ago I would give it 4 to 5 stars, but Hyundai Hazlet almost all other manufactures pass them up, and they want you to pay for things that other manufactures give you for free. Sure they give you three years free blue link with the purchase of a new car, but Chevy and other makers give you the basic level service for free weights let you lock your doors, start your car even after you’re free service is over. On top of that, there’s a fatal flaw in Hyundai’s design, and they let you sit things like to turn your heated seats on for part of your precepts, but then when you push it half the time it doesn’t work because your doors aren’t locked and that’s not one of the things you can pick as an option to add to your presets. Nobody wants to have to go to their app lock their doors through the app and wait a minute for it to happen and then hit the start car after that. That’s makes no sense, and require somebody to stay in their app for 3 to 4 minutes just to get confirmation that the first step took place and then you have to start the second stop and wait for a confirmation for that. That’s ridiculous. Maybe new car owners that have never had this are OK with that, but coming from four other cars that have a far superior service this is hard to put up with.
